Item Description
A gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, vibrant lilac kunzite crystal from the July, 2010 find at the less well-known Oceanview Mine. The water-clear crystal is beautifully striated and is doubly terminated. Both terminations are pristine and while one narrrow side is cleaved, you barely notice it on the display view. The C-axis shot really shows the fabulous lilac color saturation. Outstanding, gem-quality cutter material from this find, that was featured in an issue of Rocks & Minerals. 60 grams mass. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free. A super piece for the size range that the miners valued at $1500-1800 and worth it. Bright pink fluorescence.
