Item Description
A gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, pretty light pink kunzite crystal from a recent find at the less well-known Oceanview Mine from July, 2010. The sculptural water-clear crystal is beautifully striated and is doubly terminated. Both terminations are pristine and both are strangely etched. Nearly pristine, the short edge is cleaved and lightly contacted and the long edge is partially cleaved, but you can hardly tell. The C-axis shots really show the beautiful pink color. Highly representative and excellent, gem-quality cutter material from this new find, that is featured in a recent issue or Rocks & Minerals. Good timing! 27 grams.
