Item Description
Hornblende specimens are fairly common from this well-known locale, but are rare in this quality. This shapely and aesthetic doubly terminated compound crystal is nicely accented with the tassel of fluorescent pink calcite and the fragment of green fluorapatite. Highly lustrous, the three frontal faces are pristine. The out-of-sight back is contacted, with only moderate brusing. A very fine example of the species and locale from the Robert Nowakowski Collection.
