Doubly terminated Faden Quartz ex Obodda

Faden quartz is very well-known from this locale and this is an excellent and aesthetic large doubly terminated example. Water-clear, tabular, parallel-growth, quartz crystals have a distinct faden or "string" line clearly visible running through the crystals from top to bottom. All of the crystals have beautiful beveled edges and the couple of small side car crystals are a fine accent. Nearly pristine, with only very trivial termination edge wear on both ends. This is indeed, a striking and very fine two-sided specimen from this late 1990s find. Specimens of this quality disappeared very quickly. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
