Doubly terminated Epidote (Madrid Coll.)

Item Description

Intergrown tapered sprays of highly lustrous, parallel-growth, doubly terminated crystals form an excellent and aesthetic specimen from this obscure Nevada locale. One side has numerous areas of lighter green translucence, while the other side is festooned with tiny gemmy epidotes and a few quartz crystals. The plethora of tapered terminations are all there. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with one broken termination noted off to the side. Very fine Nevada epidote from the Madrid Collection.
