Item Description

Highly aesthetic epidote from the well-known 1990s to early 2000s finds in Mali. A striking highly lustrous doubly terminated bowtie crystal has rich dark olive-green color with pretty flashy light green highlights and sharp chisel terminations. The cluster of smaller eipdotes at the base is a super accent. An outstanding two-sided and essentially pristine specimen. The contact on the back side, where another crystal once lay, has very little bruising. Valued by the former dealer at $175 for high aesthetic quality. Classic and superior Mali epidote.
