This striking highly lustrous doubly terminated parallel-growth bowtie epidote crystal has rich dark olive-green color with pretty flashy light green highlights and sharp chisel terminations. The jauntily angled 2.7 cm side car crystal with the dinged tip is a super accent. An outstanding two-sided and nearly pristine specimen. Both terminations are pristine. Trivial side wear is certainly only a modest detraction. Valued by the former dealer at $225 for high aesthetic quality. This is highly aesthetic epidote from the well-known 1990s to early 2000s finds in Mali. Classic and superior Mali epidote.
