Item Description
A dramatic, LARGE CABINET, specimen of two intergrown, classic, TWINNED Elmwood calcite crystals. The striking, large, doubly terminated, gemmy and lustrous crystals have the highly prized, even gemmier, golden-amber terminations. The sharply terminated crystal with the gorgeous, gemmy termination rests between the larger, bifurcated calcite. A very trivial bit of termination edgewear and side wear is noted to both crystals, but is certainly a miniscule detraction. This is twinned. The small cleave at the base of pointed crystal, where it intersects the bifurcated crystal is noted, but you can hardly tell it's there. Contacting on the back is totally out of sight. This is a high quality, large example of this very desirable species from this famous and now-closed locale. The terminations glow with golden color. This would be expensive, if pristine. Ex Consie Prince Collection. Get a large, good one, while you can. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
