Doubly terminated Calcite twin

Classic, sculptural, large and desirable doubly terminated and twinned calcite crystal from the famous Elmwood Mine. The very glassy and lustrous crystal has gorgeous, desirable gem golden terminations. The central part of the crystal is gemmy to translucent and colorless. The multiple terminations on one end and the nifty 3.0 cm, colorless, doubly terminated and twinned calcite at the base add much character. The single termination has a gentle bruise. The large termination on the other end is pristine with a trivial bit of edge wear. A bruised secondary termination is also noted. These are certainly modest detractions to this very showy, large richly colored calcite from Elmwood. Ex Bill and Anne Cook Collection.
