Doubly terminated Calcite

Two, intergrown, stout, flattened, doubly terminated, calcite crystals aesthetically "guard" a nest of glassy rhombohedrons on this complete all-around and excellent specimen from the famous Bor Pit at Dal'negorsk. The two guardians are water-clear to lightly frosted and have beautifully striated terminations. Very nearly pristine, with only trivial termination edgwear to the back of the one of the upright crystals. Classic and outstanding Dal'negorsk material and collected in 2005, according to the label. Very, very little new material has come from this noted district in the last few years. Get a good one, while you can. Valued at $400-500. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
