Item Description
This is an elegant doubly-terminated crystal cloaked in sugary cleavelandite blades. The highly lustrous, well-striated crystal has the classic, soft baby-pink primary termination with nifty, more vivid pink highights. The body is very dark olive-green. Purple cap Stak Nala tourmalines are rare and this has a narrow, but definite, purple cap. A narrow, gem, colorless zone underlies the pretty purple basal termination. The tourmaline is pristine and the couple of broken cleavelandite blades are certainly not a detraction. A very fine and rare bi-colored Stak Nala tourmaline from the famous 1980s finds. Old material. Valued $1500
