Doubly terminated Amethyst (Charlie Key)

Opposing, glassy, amethyst crystals on matrix form a striking and aesthetic matrix specimen from Brandberg. The water-clear crystals, up to 4.5 cm, are a variable rich, grape purple and are both doubly terminated. The large crystal has nifty smoky hints in the middle. The two amethysts are in excellent shape. Matrix specimens of this fine quality are not that common.
