Item Description
Monstrous, gemmy and lustrous, pretty pastel-pink, kunzite crystals such as this are normally reserved for the Gallery or premium auctions with high start bids. The very glassy, well-striated crystal bar is a doubly terminated floater crystal and is from Pech. The C-axis shots of the interestingly etched terminations highlight the beautiful pink color saturation. Complete all-around and pristine. A classic and large Pech kunzite. Excellent cutter material (perhaps able to be treated to yield a higher pink color in the gem trade ), but truly impressive as a crystal specimen. 717 grams or 1.6 pounds! Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued at $3000-3500.
