Item Description
Four, intergrown, glassy, calcite crystals form an impressive large specimen from the famous Elmwood Mine. Both terminations on the dramatic, large doubly terminated, 16.2 cm crystal are gemmy, with one having the desirable golden-amber color. The second crystal has a very gemmy termination with a light amber tip and the very cute DT sidecar crystal is 9.5 cm long. The bodies of the transparent to translucent crystals are a light yellow. The golden-amber termination is very nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising and the other termination is pristine, with a nearby contact with no damge, noted. The second crystal termination is pristine and the super-cute DT sidecar is totally pristine. The attachment is embedded with numerous baryte blades and a bit of sphalerite. This fine piece has mutiple display possibilities. This is a classic and aesthetic large older example from the Consie Prince Collection. Valued by the former dealer at $1250.
