Item Description
Bright brass-colored domeykite shows brightly on the sawed face of this sculptural nodule from Michigan's famed Copper Country. Domeykite is a rare copper arsenide alloy, Cu3As. The oxidation rind on the nodule is dramatically accented by the RARE rich red cuprite. Classic, rare and rich old-time ore material, probably from the Mohawk Mine. Choice material from the Dick Hauck Collection. An antique!
