Dolomite with movable bubble

Item Description

A large, lustrous and translucent, flattened, honey-amber, dolomite crystal from Brumado. Brumado dolomites are so distinctive and unusual compared to those from almost anywhere else in the world. This one is a notched twin with a nifty small, perpendicular dolomite implanted in the termination AND a small, 2-3 mm, movable bubble where the arrow is pointing to. One edge is pristine, the other edge is partially contacted and the small crystal at the termination is contacted. This remains a large example of the species and movable bubbles in dolomites from here are VERY RARE.
