A classic and aesthetic small cabinet combination specimen of interpenetrating dolomite rhombohedrans from the famous Azcarate Quarry at Eugui, Spain. The gray rhombs are highly lustrous and translucent and have very well defined gray phantom zonation. A very fine 360-degree piece, that displays great from two sides. The spray of aragonite needles at the base on one side and the cluster of magnesite rhombs on the other are super accents. The rhombs are nearly pristine, with just two small spots of bruising along the top. Choice and uncommon material from this noted European locale. Valued $595 by the former dealer.
