Dolomite var: Zinc-bearing

Here we have a rarely seen and notably fine quality example of the Zinc-bearing variety of Dolomite (Zincian Dolomite), with a gentle silvery-blue color, and superb pearlescent luster. Hundreds of fine quality, slightly curved rhombic crystals measuring up to 5 mm, comprise semi-spherical aggregates, covering the underlying matrix. No major damage that I can see, and just top quality for the material. You don't see many piece of this size, and they are few and far between on the market, typically only seen in established old collections. Valued $1,500.
