Item Description
This dark variety of Dolomite is named Teruelite after the locality of Teruel in Spain. These are certainly distinctive and eye-catching Dolomites, no matter where they're from. This piece features a 1.0 cm, very well-formed, sharp, lustrous, dark brown crystal of Teruelite nestled into the surrounding matrix. One of the very few pieces of this rare variety of Dolomite that I have seen or offered for sale. Classic material, and rarely seen on the maket.
