A really attractive and interesting specimen from Brumado featuring classic compressed twinned crystals of soft golden color Dolomite with selective alternating WATER CLEAR clarity and matte luster sitting atop a sculptural group of slightly smoky colored Quartz crystals. Great quality, especially from the standpoint of the Dolomite, as the species is rarely seen in such well-formed twins, let alone GEM crystals. Most of the Quartz crystals are in excellent shape, and the few "broken" crystals appear to have healed, so there isn't any significant damage. This is FINE quality twinned Dolomite, and the best of these pieces are some of the biggest and gemmiest twinned specimens from any world locality. The largest Dolomite measures 2.0 cm across.
