Item Description
These are some of my favorite mineral specimens from Brazil. I love to see two carbonate species together like this, especially when they're both well-crystallzied and GEMMY! This miniature specimen from Brumado features classic, sharp, GEMMY, compressed twinned crystals of golden color Dolomite associated with optic-grade GEM rhombs of colorless Magnesite. Great quality, especially from the standpoint of the Dolomite, as the species is rarely seen in such well-formed twins, let alone GEMMY crystals. The piece is not 100% perfect but the Dolomites are all in great shape. The largest Dolomite measures 1.7 cm and the largest Magnesite measures 2.1 cm.
