Dolomite (rare locale) (ex Trimingham Collection)

Item Description

A fine quality and really hard to find east coast Dolomite specimen from the Binkley-Ober Quarry. This hand sized specimen is just bursting with amazingly attractive pinkish colored, pearly rhombohedra of Dolomite in swirling, curved and "saddle"-shaped formations. Virtually no damage to speak of and very showy. I have only seen a couple of these specimens on the years, and this one really stands out in my mind as a good piece of this material.
