Dolomite (rare faceted stone)

Dolomite is not often found in gemmy / translucent crystals, let alone TRANSPARENT examples that will yield good sized gemstones. This faceted stone is an impressive "Triangle Brilliant" cut gem with VS clarity and a highly desirable honey-gold hue, which is hard to find in faceted stones from any locality. Gem quality carbonates (outside of Calcite) are not terribly common in this size from anywhere, and to have a stone with this color is a big deal. If you collect rare stones, a colorful gem quality Dolomite is a BIG DEAL, so don't let this one get away, as we don't have another one to offer in the auctions.
