Item Description
Baryte is an uncommon mineral species of the old, upper oxidized levels at the Tsumeb Mine. This is a VERY RARE and very sculptural thin pseudomorph crust of microcrystalline, pastel-pink dolomite after a facinating, chevron-shaped intergrowth of tabular baryte blades to 2.9 cm. A dramatic, rare and fine pseudomorph from the Bob Trimingham Collection. A must for the locality, species or pseudomorph collector.
