A really attractive and interesting specimen from Brumado featuring classic compressed twinned crystals of soft golden color Dolomite with selective alternating WATER CLEAR clarity and matte luster associated with gemmy prismatic Quartz crystals included with minor "Chlorite". These twins are sometimes referred to as "phantom" twins due to the alternation color zoning. Great quality, especially from the standpoint of the Dolomite, as the species is rarely seen in such well-formed twins. The piece is not 100% perfect as one side has a small contact, but this is FINE quality twinned Dolomite, and the best of these pieces are some of the biggest and gemmiest twinned specimens from any world locality.
