Item Description
A really attractive Dolomite from the early days of specimen availability (1990s) at the Shangbao Mine. This piece features two generations of Dolomite with a layer of pearly, cream colored, slightly curved rhombs measuring up to 1.0 cm, which are sitting on an usually LAVENDER colored earlier generation of Calcite matrix. This is rare material, both in terms of availability on the market, and the fact that very few of them came out initially.
