Item Description

Pearlescent dolomite rhombs and tiny brown marcasite rhombs cover all sides of the aesthetic elongated intergrown cluster of schalenblende botryoids on this showy and excellent combination from this well-known Zn-Pb deposit self-collected by Paco Gutierrez. Schalenblende is an mixture of sphalerite and wurtzite and may contain other minerals. The botryoids consist of concentric banded layers and reniform masses of mainly sphalerite and wurtzite.
