Dolomite (Fernandez Buelga Coll.)

Item Description

A classic and aesthetic specimen of two, large, interpenetrating dolomite rhombohedrans from the famous Azcarate Quarry at Eugui, Spain. The rhombs are highly lustrous and translucent and the dominating rhomb is 5.8 x 5.1 cm. The large rhomb has very well defined gray phantom zonation. Complete all-around, a trivial bit of edgewear and periphery wear are noted as modest detractions. Ex Fernandez Beulga Collection of Spain.
