Item Description
What an incredibly attractive combination piece from this famous locality. Sparkling, bright pastel pink crystals of cobaltian Dolomite cover most of the underlying translucent to transparent Calcite crystals and the Dolomites have wonderful pearly luster for added effect. The Dolomite crystals tend to cover the top surfaces of the piece that selectively includes those rhombohedral Calcite faces leaving select rhombohedral faces on the side devoid of coverage, enhancing the aesthetics. Contacting of the Calcite on the base and around the sides with no damage to the pearly pink Dolomite. UNUSUAL !
