Item Description
A rare and very fine dolomite specimen from this classic locale. Large, pearlescent, translucent, extremely stepped-growth, flattened dolomite rhombs in parallel-growth form a striking specimen. The large rhomb is 4.8 cm wide. Very uncommon in this quality and form. It reminds me of fine Tsumeb calcite, but its not. Ex R. Metzger and W. Leithauser Collections.
