Item Description

A classic and aesthetic specimen of three, graduated-size, interpenetrating dolomite rhombohedrans from the famous Azcarate Quarry at Eugui, Spain. The rhombs are highly lustrous and translucent and the dominating rhomb is 4.5 x 4.3 cm. The large rhomb has very well defined gray phantom zonation. Complete all-around, the frontal view is pristine and the contacting on the back and base is out of sight. Ex Joan Massague Collection and purchased from Joan Montal in 1983.
