Dolomite "cast" after Calcite with Malachite pseudomorphing after Copper

A really attractive DOUBLE replacement specimen featuring a plate of highly lustrous, pearly, pink colored Dolomite which has formed a pseudomorph / "cast" after a preexisting generation of Calcite which plays host to beautiful dendritic groups of Native Copper that are starting to alter / pseudomorph to soft green Malachite. The combination of one species completely replacing another associated with a different species in the process of altering is incredibly rare, but if you're going to see it, Tsumeb might be the most likely locality. Great quality all around, and the little branching Copper groups look fantastic under magnification. Valued in the inventory at $1,500. The piece comes with a small hand-written label from Clive Queit.
