Djurleite with Silver (Extremely Rare!)

Item Description

A flat-lying crystal of djurleite forms the matrix for an upright, thin, highly lustrous, dark gray, doubly-terminated djurleite crystal measuring 2.2 cm across. This is already rare and special, and came from a small, single pocket recovered years ago. Confirmed by multiple analyses (including the Paris National Museum) when it came out, we had this particular specimen ourselves back in the time they came out in 2016 and had the silver specks analysed at the time. It is notable for the wire silver on it which is an extremely rare association of djurleite and seldom visible. It is one of a very few from the pocket, to show silver. Small dings atop, but this does not detract from its impact as an important rarity and display quality thumbnail specimen of the most important find of this species.
