Item Description

Scintillating, gemmy and lustrous, rich emerald-green dioptase crystals are strikingly accented with yellow wulfenite crystals from the well-known Christmas Mine of the Banner District. Wulfenite is extremely rare from this locale, so this is an important combination specimen. The sparkle and gemminess of the dioptase crystals is exceptional. The richly covered massive matrix is very dense for its size and must be ore. Self-collected by Bob Hauck in 1984, according to his label.
