Item Description

RARELY do you see a Tsumeb Mine dioptase specimen with the Stope and Level known, as is the case with this rich and excellent specimen from the Art Soregaroli Collection (the label is included). The crystals have an unusual rich lighter emerald-green color, than you generally see from Tsmeb. The scintillating, translucent crystals reach to about 8 mm. The dioptase crystals rest on a thin calcite crust above the matrix. The noted periphery wear is certainly on a modest detraction to this choice and uncommon Tsumeb dioptase.
