Dioptase (Type Locality) on Calcite

Item Description

Gemmy and lustrous, rich emerald-green, dioptase prisms to 1.4 cm are aesthetically set in a vug lined with small calcite rhombs on this showy example from the Type Locality. The noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this highly representative example.
