Dioptase, Shattuckite & Primary Malachite (Charlie Key)

Item Description

A striking, highly unusual, totally different, two-sided, combination specimen from the Kaokoveld and the Charlie Key dealer stock. The "front" is composed mainly of very nifty, bowtie-like bundles of primary malachite needles. These have a classy, chatoyant shimmer. Scattered about, mainly on the upper right, are gemmy and lustrous, emerald-green dioptase crystals with a tiny bit of shattuckite. Many of the dioptase crystals are etched. The bulging "back" is mostly heavily etched dioptase crystals with accenting etched smoky quartz and some powder-blue shattuckite. We've not seen a Kaokoveld combination, quite like this one!
