Kaokeveld has produced remarkable specimens, particularly the Shattuckites, Malachites, and Dioptases (in no particular order, mind you). Now imagine putting all three together! The Shattuckite pocket, an impressive 5 cm across, is lined with velvety, cornflower blue Shattuckite. Within the pocket is primary Malachite. Sitting in massive Quartz, this combination is classic. What makes this piece transcend 'classic' are all the superbly lustrous, .4 cm Dioptase crystals that generously populate the pocket, as well as some amber-colored Baryte that adds even more color and interest. A truly attractive combo pocket, all preserved in one piece.
