Emerald-green, gemmy dioptase crystals to RICHLY cover the display side of this vug of Calcite on matrix on this attractive and rare specimen from an UNCOMMON Dioptase locality in Argentina. We have photographed the piece with a closeup lens to really illustrate the beautiful color and quality of these little crystals. A great piece for anybody who collect worldwide Dioptase specimens. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#13252). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
