Item Description
A fairly rare specimen from the Bonanza Mine (Harquahala Mine) in Arizona featuring a druse of hundreds of micro emerald green trigonal crystals on matrix. The piece is best viewed under magnification, as the crystals are beautiful up close. This locality dates back to 1888, but according to the entry on mindat.org, no more specimens were found after 1964, so this piece is easily 60+ years old. A cool antique Dioptase specimen from this former Au-Ag-Pb-Cu mine on the north face of Martin Peak.
Ex Les Presmyk (De Natura) specimen.
