Item Description

This is one of the more elegant Kaokoveld specimens I have seen. The Shattuckite is a very thin, delicate crust that is actually a cast after a large rhombohedral calcite crystal; and this lovely blue is accented by about two dozen lustrous and gemmy Dioptases. The longest of the Dioptase crystals is 8 mm. This is a wonderful specimen for both the association and the aesthetic. Good in pics, great in person.
