Item Description

Brilliantly lustrous, gemmy/translucent, gorgeous rich emerald-green dioptase crystals to 1.5 cm attractively fill a vug in quartz matrix on this showy and excellent older combination piece from the Republic of Congo. Such combinations are uncommon from here and this is a good one. The interior of the piece is essentially pristine and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this fine rarity. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
