Dioptase on floater Quartz xl (Charlie Key)

Gemmy and lustrous, elongated, rich emerald-green, dioptase crystals are very aesthetically clustered or set as individuals on the pristine, mounded, floater, quartz crystal on this dramatic and excellent specimen from the Kaokoveld. These crystals have a much different, richer color than those from Tsumeb or Reneville. Some crystals are doubly terminated, including the largest at 2.0 cm. A few minor bruised crystals are noted, but have minimal impact on the overall quality. This is a visually dramatic combination specimen from this small find. Ex Charlie Key dealer stock.
