A superb and aesthetic thumbnail from the Dick Jones Collection. Gemmy and lustrous, emerald-green, dioptase crystals strikingly and richly, preferentially cover the front of a stalactite comprised of glassy calcite rhombs. In addition, you can clearly see, that pastel-green duftite is preferentially included in the calcite rhombs beneath the dioptase crystals. The back of the pristine stalactite is dioptase and duftite free. A rare and outstanding thumbnail from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine.
