Dioptase on Dolomite

Item Description

A pretty and rich, two-sided, dioptase combination miniature from Tsumeb. Gemmy and lustrous, rich emerald-green, dioptase crystals to 7 mm are attractively festooned on both sides of the vuggy matrix covered with sparkly, sugary, pastel-pink, dolomite. Periphery wear and some bruised crystals are noted, but this remains a highly representative example of the species.
