Emerald-green, scintillating and gemmy, dioptase microcrystals are festooned on the glassy, stepped-growth, calcite rhombs on this outstanding, LARGE CABINET, plate from famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. The dioptases may be small, but the quality is very high. This impressive large piece is very nearly pristine, with only a few tiny spots of bruising.
