A VERY RARE and impressive large combination from the Kaokoveld. Calcite is RARE from here. A well-placed, 2.3 cm doubly terminated dioptase crystal dominates the striking sculptural 3-dimensional curved vug lined with lustrous, translucent calcite rhombs. The striking, pristine, lustrous, complex dioptase crystal is a rich forest-green and is opaque. The lustrous, translucent, doubly terminated, emerald-green crystal at the top is a fine accessory. RARE and choice large combination material from the Rob Sielecki Collection. The piece displays well without aid.
