An adorable and RARE combination from the Kaokoveld. Calcite crystals of this richness and quality are rare from here and exceptionally so, with dioptase. A 1.3 cm emerald-green dioptase crystal is beautifull perched atop the mounded cluster of glassy, lustrous and translucent, straw-yellow calcite rhombs. The dioptase is complete all-around and pristine. The out-of-sight back side is contacted, but there is no damage, per se. Nearby contacting to the calcite (no damage) and modest periphery wear are noted, but certainly have on minimal impact to the fine aesthetics and high quality of this combination rarity.
