Dioptase on Calcite (classic combo)

Item Description

Tiny emerald-green dioptase crystals are peppered on and included-in the sculptural dense cluster of intergrown lustrous and translucent calcite rhombs with frosted faces on this classic and very fine combination example from Tsumeb. The rhombs reach 2.2 cm on this pristine and excellent combination from an East Coast collection. Older choice material, as the accompanying The Lesnicks label dates from 1962 to 1980.
