Classic, scintillating, gemmy, rich emerald-green dioptase crystals richly and dramatically cover the undulating glassy calcite rhomb coated matrix on this very showy, colorful and highly desirable combination from the famed Tsumeb Mine. Crystals reach 1.0 cm (doubly terminated) on this fine two-way example. All of the multitude of crystals in the interior are pristine and the one spot of periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction. Choice, very rich dioptase on calcite. The crystals have exceptional gemminess. Valued at $1000-1500.
